OFFICER: Too busy to do job

First I want to compliment the sheriff’s department (white car) I saw Monday morning, heading west on Kathleen as I was headed north on Government Way (this is written with heavy sarcasm).

I was making a right-hand turn onto Kathleen. On my left there was a car stuck? Medical emergency? I’m not sure but he was half in the crosswalk and half in the intersection. The officer sitting across from this road hazard, possible emergency, waited his turn, then making a right onto Government Way he continued on. I had already turned but I did see the car turn off its headlights, still in the same place.

I realize we took “Protect and Serve” off the cars, but he should have at least made sure the person wasn’t in need of medical attention. SHAME ON YOU!
