Hang on for these Tidbits
- Watch for Idaho Lights expanding to Post Falls and the Blue Star Affordable Homecare at 7352 Government Way.
- TNT Mufflers has closed at 523 Sherman Ave.
- Perhaps Coeur d'Alene needs building height restrictions to retain the downtown character and allow sunlight to hit the sidewalk food/beverage tables. This has been very successful in historic cities such as New Orleans, Nashville and Austin. Other options are second-story and rooftop "patios." In huge cities the eating areas for fast-food and deli places are often on the second floor with windows overlooking the streets and sidewalks. It's a bit ironic as residents of Coeur d'Alene's current high-rise buildings complain about potential new high-rises blocking their views as their buildings did the same to the places behind them.
- I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me.
- Something is divided between two people and among more than two.
