SCARY: Yes, but that's the point
This letter is in response to Faith Normington and Monica Dietrich.
First of all, Faith, I’d like to point out, you weren’t actually there yourself. And you were misinformed. I have been a customer of Scarywood for the past three years. I think it is better than ever!
We pay money to not only get scared out of our wits but also to get freaked out and grossed out by all things scary, weird and freaky. I went through Terror Canyon Trail last year and this year (by the way, this is NOT a raft ride or water attraction) and the scene with the six bare breasts is FAR from sexual. It is meant to look as if pig people are feasting on a woman when you come around the corner and you are surprised to find out it is a mother pig with her “boys” feeding.
(Monica) how is breast feeding degrading to all women? I personally would never compare my life or character as a woman to that of a freaky haunted attraction! And as far as I heard she yelled “intruders” and “get off my farm,” never “do you want some.” It’s twisted but that’s the point!
As far as the train, yes there is profanity BUT they do warn the guests. Besides, as the teacher Julia Potee stated, I’m positive any 16-year-old (and younger) has heard the same or worse in the halls at school, blows me away some of the stuff coming out of kids’ mouths today!
Sorry but if people think they are going to Scarywood for unicorns and fairies they are very wrong. Scarywood is running commercials and is on the news, thousands will go and I’m sure when it airs on the Travel Channel 10,000 more will file in. I LOVE SCARYWOOD and they can count on my family and me attending EVERY YEAR!
