What is Quantum Biofeedback and how can it help me?

| October 17, 2012 9:00 PM

We have all used biofeedback in many facets of our lives. For example, any time we have stepped on a scale to measure our weight or anytime we have used a thermometer to measure our temperature, we've used biofeedback.

Biofeedback is used in many areas of medicine and has been used in hospitals for more than 80 years diagnostically and therapeutically for pain management and stress reduction. EEG, ECG, EKG, MRI's and CT scans are common examples. So what is biofeedback? Simply put, biofeedback is broken down into bio which means "life" and feedback, therefore life feedback. Biofeedback is a tool that can measure different parameters of health, stress and ultimately life.

The Quantum biofeedback devices, the INDIGO and the SCIO are the most advanced form of biofeedback available, capable of measuring the electrical activity of the body at a sensitivity of 200 billionth of a volt. Using the INDIGO or the SCIO we can measure reactivity to more than 11,000 stress and psychological signatures. The results provide clues to specific stressors that can affect our health and well-being.

Medical research has shown the benefits of biofeedback may include the following:

• The ability to relax more quickly

• Improved sleep

• Reduction of stress, tenseness and nervousness

• Improved general health and sense of well-being

• Reduction of anger, fear apprehension and gloominess

• Heightened muscle mobility, coordination, flexibility and sport performance

• Enhanced mental clarity, memory and improved attention

• Decreased pain and or headaches
