Viks nearly pull off comeback
After dropping the first two games in one-sided fashion, the Coeur d'Alene Vikings staged quite the comeback before coming up just short.

"Lewiston is a good team, but we struggled to say the least getting started," Coeur d'Alene coach Dee Pottenger said. "But I couldn't be any prouder of the effort my girls showed coming back.
“It’s disappointing to lose 15-13 in the fifth, but we’re hoping to see them again at state,” Pottenger added.
Kayla McGlathery had 17 kills, Megan Ramseyer 25 assists and three aces, Amy Norris 15 digs and Sydney Williams six blocks for Coeur d’Alene (19-11), which faces Post Falls tonight at 7 in the second-place game at Coeur d’Alene High.

“I think our kids played with a whole lot of heart tonight,” Post Falls coach Willow Hanna said. “It was nice to see the things we’ve been working on so hard throughout the season come together. It was another battle. This is a tough league and on any given night, anyone could win.”
