SCHOOL: Many reasons for thanks

I am thankful for the following:

First, the people from the Coeur d’Alene community and beyond who have come forth in support of schools of choice and against injustices done. Your voice is both appreciated and encouraging.

Secondly, the principal, teachers, staff, volunteers, meal preparers and servers, crossing guards, maintenance, grounds keepers and any other person contributing to the lives of the children at Hayden Meadows Elementary. You have exponentially enhanced the minds of thousands of young people through your teaching, dedication, generosity, kindness and compassion. I know you will continue to do so.

Thirdly, the positive that will ultimately come from the outrageous vote against PYP; because of this action fair and open-minded people have united resolving to act upon our rights and freedoms as Americans. We look forward to a new beginning in May!
