POLITICS: Liberals howling yet again

First an error correction. In a recent letter I wrote about exhortations being directed “to you and I.” That should have been “to you and me.” My apologies. Old age setting in perhaps. God forbid I should one day be caught writing “I feel badly” (unless of course I’m referring to my fingers being numb from the cold).

I see they’re back at it. “They” being the howling, blood-thirsty, demonic liberals. I have never seen a conservative comment that comes even close to the blood lust of a large segment of the liberal community. One liberal actress screamed for the storm Isaac to wash away Republicans at their convention. One writer spoke of Ronald Reagan (arguably our finest president since Abraham Lincoln) as if he were a wanted felon. A black actress is recently subjected to vicious mailings (mainly from her ethnic colleagues) for supporting Romney. The list is endless.

But I notice that although these screamers will undoubtedly vote for Obama, not one had any good words to say for him, not one accomplishment to report. But how could they? There are none. They ignore his arrogant manner among his many other flaws.

This is a man who “honors” Neil Armstrong by exhibiting a picture of himself staring up at the moon. I’m certain that he expects to be assumed bodily into heaven while he smiles down at his cult, er, flock. A man who, claiming to be Christian, has not one good word to say about Christianity but who lauds Islam to the high heavens. I’ve seen at least six video clips of him doing just that.

Then there’s his absolute incompetence. Surely the American people will not be suckered into voting for him a second time. That old saying about fooling some/all of the people some/all of the time still applies but stranger things have happened. (Stranger but not nearly as frightening.)
