Jacqueline Kae (Jackie) Weddle Irvine, 55
Jacqueline Kae (Jackie) Weddle Irvine born Sept. 19, 1957, in Lewiston passed away Oct. 7, 2012, at Hospice House of North Idaho after a long battle with MS.
Jackie was raised on a ranch near Orofino in Clearwater County.
She graduated from Timberline High School in 1975. She loved the out doors and was an outstanding horse woman. One of the highlights of her life was being selected queen of the Weippe Rodeo in 1972. After moving to Coeur d’Alene she enjoyed riding with the Coeur d’Alene Saddlelite drill team.
She loved her job as a groundskeeper at the North Idaho College.
Installing and repairing sprinkler systems was one of her favorite parts of the job. She retired 15 years ago because of her health.
Jackie married Mike Irvine in 1984, their marriage later ended in divorce. She is survived by one son, Patrick Irvine and a very special granddaughter, Alesiah Kay [Ally] Eversole. Also survived by her mother and stepfather, Shirley and Marv Capper; her sister, Debbie (Mark) Van Horn, their children, Jon, Jenni and Mary; her stepsister, Pam Capper and her children, Wade, Lindsey and Shaley; her maternal grandmother, Ruth McHone; her uncle, Mike (Sharon) McHone; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyde Weddle and her paternal grandparents, Darvin and Virginia. Also by her maternal grandpa, Charles (Chuck) McHone.
Thanks to Life Care Center of Coeur d’Alene for the care given to Jackie over the past 10 years. A very special thanks to Hospice House of North Idaho where Jackie spent the last few days of her life, the care and compassion that she and the rest of her family received was invaluable.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice House of North Idaho, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Hayden, ID 83835.
A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring for friends and family.
