Cd'A: Logic hard to follow

| October 14, 2012 9:00 PM

I find recent city actions quite confusing. Do I have this right? With the McEuen Park project (estimated to cost up to $40 million) the council chose not to have a public vote. A few months later, the state is offering to give the city five miles of lake front and enough cash for 20 years of maintenance costs. The city now feels it needs a public vote on this offer. What am I missing here?
