FARRAGUT: A park with pride

I would like to comment on how much I appreciate the changes I am seeing at Farragut State Park. As a frequent day use customer I often take long walks with my dog. As a result of the tree thinning and cleaning up of debris along the trails and roads; I feel more secure and appreciate what our beautiful forest has to offer. I can walk Through the Woods now, without tripping over all the dead wood.

I read many negative comments about how the park is being managed; but I personally don’t see all the damage that is referred to. Only enhanced beauty and access to what the park has to offer.
