Edna Richards, 93

Edna Runge Richards, 93, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away on October 5, 2012.

Edna was born on Nov. 19, 1918, in Keyline, Wyo., to John and Anna (Hankee) Runge. She grew up in Nebraska and attended school in Loup City.

Her last year of school was in Lincoln, Neb., where she graduated in 1937. Edna married Bill Richards on Sept. 11, 1937, in Omaha, Neb. After living in Missouri for some time, they moved to Idaho in 1947.

Edna was in sales at various stores in Coeur d’Alene.

She loved cards, flowers, and crafts. Her husband preceded her in death in 1988 as well as an infant son. Edna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Jim Sullivan, of Coeur d’Alene, granddaughters, Kelly Reynolds and Jackie Pickering of Spokane, grandson, Jim Sullivan, of Post Falls, seven great grandchildren, nephews, John and Jim Runge, and niece, Petty Gleason, of Hayden.

Edna requested that no services be held.
