BIRTHS
Aubree Lynn Kucherry was born Aug. 28, 2012, to Emily (Fountain) and Jared Kucherry of Hayden, at Kootenai Medical Center. She weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. Sister is Kendal, 4. Maternal grandparents are Jeff and Diane Fountain of Coeur d'Alene. Paternal grandparents are Robbie and Pam Kucherry of Sagle. Great-grandparents are Charles and Maureen Stark of Coeur d'Alene, and Dean and Dorothy Eich of Sagle. Great-great-grandmother is Evelyn Keller of Sagle.
Gabriella Emylia Tugaga was born at 3:55 p.m. Sept. 23, 2012, to Kaci Williams Bennett and Darius Tugaga of Post Falls. She weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Maternal grandmother is Wendy Avery. Paternal grandparents are Karoline and David Tugaga.
MILITARY
Navy Fireman Apprentice Eric J. Kennard, son of Teresa A. Kennard of Coeur d'Alene and Joseph P. Kennard of Spirit Lake, was recently promoted to his current rank upon graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Kennard received the early promotion for outstanding performance during all phases of the training cycle. Training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.
Kennard is a 2012 graduate of Timberlake High School in Spirit Lake.
Army Pfc. Korban P. Day has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
Day is the son of Jeanne Day of Knox, Ind., and grandson of Ben Mitchell of Coeur d'Alene.
He is a 2001 graduate of Knox High School in Indiana.
Air Force Airman Kylie M. Sisson graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Sisson is the daughter of Kelly and Mitchel Sisson of Post Falls.
She is a 2010 graduate of Post Falls High School.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Erika N. Mowery graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Mowery is the daughter of Tim and Heidi Mowery of Coeur d'Alene.
She is a 2008 graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School.
