Grove, Porter second

GLENEDEN BEACH, Ore. - Russell Grove, an assistant pro at Avondale Golf Club, and his amateur partner Taylor Porter shot a 10-under-par 65-67-132 and tied for second place at the Pacific Northwest Pro-Amateur Championship which concluded Friday at Salishan Spa and Golf Resort, just outside Lincoln City.

Luke Baker and Jim Bob Coleman of Deer Park Golf Club shot 66-65-131 to win by one stroke.

Two local teams tied for 12th at 138. Darin Vaughan and Darren Slackman of Twin Lakes Village shot 67-71, and Mike DeLong and Bob Christensen shot 70-68.
