COUNTY: Pleasure to work with you

I have received a great deal of help from Scott Clark and his highly qualified staff at the Community Development Department. I have personally experienced his leadership skills and eagerness to do his job correctly.

I had no experience in developing property prior to my mini storage project. I was told that Kootenai County’s Development department was just too screwed up for a novice with little to no experience to do a bigger project. I have completed my first phase without a hitch, largely due to Scott Clark’s department. They were all so helpful throughout the entire project.

The staff greeted me with smiles as I walked through the door, truly cared about my project, and were so eager to help me. My planner, Justin Sier, did a magnificent job on my project over the last four years. I cannot compliment Inspector John Mills enough. I could call him basically anytime and he went out of his way to assist me with my questions and actually show me how to do something regarding the structural integrity of my buildings. John was a great help.

I will not be completing my next two phases, due to the extremely high cost of impact fees, but you have to give credit where credit is due. Scott Clark’s leadership and demeanor funnel through to the staff and it was my pleasure to work with the Kootenai County Development Department.
