Craig Lyle Clauson, 59
Was born May 10, 1958, in Fontana, Calif. He resided in Rialto, Calif., attended Eisenhower High School until January 1969 when he, his parents and brother moved to North Idaho.
For the first year they lived in a wall tent as they etched a home out of the wilderness. After attending Lakeland High School in Rathdrum, Craig worked as a framer for Boise Cascade building houses. Later He and his partners owned Highland Concrete.
During this time, he married Claire Todak and they had three children. He was a devout Christian and was involved in many ministries, particularly playing in a coffee house style Christian band: Boarding House Reach. He loved playing music and all things musical for his whole life.
In 1978 he was paralyzed in an automobile accident that forever altered his life. He continued to pursue an active lifestyle when he could. Craig loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing and going for long pushes.
He always had a heart for other disabled people and strove to create ways to improve their quality of life. An avid reader, he loved intellectual discussion and debates; particularly about spiritual matters.
He is survived by his children, Esau Clauson, Jadenn Kerri Clauson, Kole Clauson and Michelle Siego (Clauson); granddaughter Niketta Janoski; mother, Dee Clauson; siblings, Becky Simon and Brad Clauson; and many uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and extended family that all miss and love him dearly.
