GOD: He's clearly on GOP's side

Don’t ever forget, our God is still on His throne. The Bible says that God lifts up kings (presidents) and He takes them down. We don’t always understand His ways, but President Obama and all the rich people who are seemingly in control of our dear country CAN’T do anything that God in His wisdom doesn’t allow. We may be in for severe discipline for our ungodly ways, abortion, same sex marriage, immorality, etc. that we surely deserve, but never fear, God is still in control, and always will be.

The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

We older folks were taught to respect our parents, elders and all those in authority over us, including the flag and the office of our president. We need to be on our knees praying for them, and for our country. Besides, nearly half of our nation voted on our side.

And I am so proud of our Idaho voters who still hang on against all odds and vote our Christian beliefs. Thank you, Melanie, and all who worked so hard to keep our freedoms alive. God bless our service men and women, our wonderful Idaho and God bless America. May we forever be free. Way to go Jim, Colin, Dennis, Kerry and Wade and all the others for your great letters to the editor.
