Susan Conner Slocumb, 56

Susan Conner Slocumb passed away Nov. 20, 2012, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Sue was also a cancer survivor.

She graduated from University High and Spokane Community College. She lived in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area most of her life. Sue married Mike Slocumb in 1996. They later moved to Athol where she and Mike started a miniature donkey business called “Silver Aspen Farms.” She also worked for Encoder Products by Cocolalla Lake.

Sue is survived by her husband, Mike Slocumb; her sister, Elaine Betz; and a niece and nephew. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Vance and Rosena Conner; and her two brothers, Eugene and Keneth Conner.

Sue loved life. Susan and Mike did a lot of fishing and hunting together.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held in the spring. Bell Tower Funeral Home, Post Falls, is in care of the arrangements.
