<p>JEROME A. POLLOS/Press Bruce Twitchell, the photography teacher at Coeur d'Alene High, has his head shaved by Kiersten Kerr, the school's librarian, during an assembly Wednesday. Student and school staff offered their hair as motivation for a fundraising effort called "The Mane Event" held by students to benefit the Viking Vault. The Vault benefits needy students at CHS, the money will go to buy clothes, shoes, toiletries, etc. The effort raised $1,528.</p>
