Willene Janrose Eubanks, 88

Willene Janrose Eubanks passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on Nov. 10, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene. She was born on Dec. 30, 1923, in Wallins Creek, Ky., to Arthur and Maude Lewis.

She graduated from Harlan High School in June 1941 with her future husband Edgar and married him Jan. 10, 1942, in Los Angeles, Calif. She worked for a time at the Hughes Aircraft Co., Culver City, Calif., as a parts inspector. In 1976 she and her husband moved to Sacramento, Calif., where she was employed at the Mescellan Air Force Base in quality control. She survived a heart attack in 1979 and retired. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, boating, loved ceramics, fishing, animals, birds, sewing and had a great enthusiasm for life and felt blessed to the end. In 1998 she and her husband moved to Coeur d’Alene to be near three of their children.

She is survived by her husband, Edgar and four children: William, Gerald and David Eubanks, and Donna Linden. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews.
