Capitalized terms used in this summary shall have the meaning given them in Ordinance No. 2012-2. Section 1: Confirmation of Assessment Roll. This section also provides that once this 30-day appeal period has expired, no one shall have the cause or right to contest the legality, formality or regularity of any assessment within LID No. 3. Section 8: Ratification of Proceedings. Ratifies all proceedings heretofore had in connection with LID No. 3. Section 9: Irrepealability. Provides that the Ordinance is irrepealable after the issuance of the bonds to finance the improvements within LID No. 3. Section 10: Severability. LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION NORTH ZONE ROADSIDE SALVAGE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT On May 15, 2012, Mary Farnsworth, Forest Supervisor for the Idaho Panhandle National Forests and Responsible Official, signed a Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact for the North Zone Roadside Salvage project. The decision is to implement Alternative 2, to salvage hazard trees and perform road maintenance work on specific forest system road segments, including currently drivable open and seasonally closed roads that are not closed due to grizzly bear management throughout the north zone of the Idaho Panhandle National Forest (IPNF). Road maintenance work will be conducted on approximately 612 miles of roads within the project area. Approximately 412 miles of roadside salvage will take place within portions of the same 612 miles of roadside maintenance. Road maintenance includes cutting and removing brush and trees within the maintenance clearing limit, ditch work, relief pipe and culvert cleaning or replacement, spot gravel placement, and road blading.
