Bob Templin was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce May luncheon on Tuesday in honor of National Tourism Month. Templin has long been an advocate for the promotion of tourism in Post Falls and is a former Idaho Travel Council appointee.

Nancy DiGiammarco, Silverwood marketing director and the chair of the Post Falls Chamber's Tourism Committee, said of Templin, "his leadership, integrity and heart for the community continues to inspire others in the industry, creating a legacy of hospitality for generations to come."

Coeur d'Alene Homes welcomes new board members

Brenda Zosel and Gordon Longwell were recently elected to the board of directors of Coeur d'Alene Homes Assisted Living and Memory Care.

The nonprofit's board is made up of members from the 24 churches who sponsor the organization; Zosel attends Lake City Community Church and Longwell is from Trinity Lutheran Church.

Zosel joined Pita Pit USA, Inc. in 2006 as their financial controller.

Longwell is a local architect. He is past president of the American Institute of Architects Idaho Chapter; he served 12 years on the city of Coeur d'Alene and was the founder of Longwell + Trapp Architects.
