Pauline B. (Speicher) (Swanson) McConnachie, 80

Pauline "Paula" McConnachie, 80, of Worley went to meet the Lord on March 23, 2012.

She was born July 27, 1931, to George and Florence Speicher in Spokane. Paula went to Lewis & Clark High School.

Paula is survived by her loving, caretaker husband Ted McConnachie. She is also survived by her three daughters, Pam Carter of Worley, Shirley Stephenson of Plummer, Wanda Jo Nelson and her husband Keith of Garland, Texas, and her two sons, Michael Gardner of Worley and David Swanson and his wife Vicky of Otis Orchards. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Paula was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She always had a large garden each year and did her own canning. She had a special love for animals, birds and was never without a dog. She loved to go to yard sales and was a Mariners fan.

Paula's favorite pastime was playing card games with her family. Her greatest joy was when she was surrounded with family especially at holidays and her Birthday. Her family and friends will deeply miss her.

A memorial service for Paula will be Friday, March 30, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Worley Community Church in Worley on First and I street.
