Kathryn Warner, 92

Kathryn Maude Warner, 92, resident of Rathdrum, passed away March 20, 2012, in Coeur d’Alene. She was born Aug. 6, 1919, in Rutland, Vt., to Jay and Harriet Brown.

Kathryn was raised in Vermont and later moved to California in 1928. In 1931, she moved to Paradise, Calif., with her parents and in 1938, she met and married Harold A. Warner. Harold and Kathryn lived most of their lives together in Phoenix. Harold passed away on Feb. 20, 1964. Kathryn moved to Montana in 1984 and then moved to Rathdrum in 1989 to live with her daughter Karen Stevens. She enjoyed gardening and her family most of all.

She is survived by her son, Richard Warner and wife Mary Warner; granddaughter Sherri Miles and husband Craig Miles; four great grandchildren, Stephanie Palaniuk, Kayla Palaniuk, Zach Miles and Jake Miles, and two great-great grandchildren, Graycee Palaniuk and Ryeder Palaniuk.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harold, and daughter Karen Stevens.

No local services will be held. A graveside service will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Phoenix.
