Legislative Town Hall planned in Cd'A

The City of Coeur d’Alene’s Legislative Committee will be hosting a Town Hall meeting Saturday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave.

North Idaho Senators John Goedde and Jim Hammond, and Representative Frank Henderson will discuss, and answer questions about, this year’s legislative session.

Other local state lawmakers have been invited to attend.

This will be the sixth year the city has hosted a Legislative Town Hall Meeting.

Topics for cities during this year's legislative session include banning texting while driving, legislative efforts to overhaul, restrict, or completely eliminate urban renewal agencies, legislative redistricting, video franchising, and funding for State Alcohol Beverage Control.
