Ernest F. Cross, 64

Ernest “Ernie” Cross passed away July 8, 2012. He was born June 20, 1948, in Telluride, Colo.

Ernie moved to Post Falls in 2008. He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Ernie enjoyed fishing and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bud” Cross; and sister, Terry Lee Glock.

Ernie is survived by his mother, Minke Cross; son Scott (Dusti) Cross; daughters, Catrina “Trina” Cross, (Jessie Smith), Shari Cross and Channell (Joe) Johnston; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and sisters, Sharon (Bill) Hale and Elizabeth “Lisa” Campbell.

English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, was entrusted with the final arrangements.
