TRASH: We can do better than this

| July 1, 2012 9:00 PM

BE CONSIDERATE OF OUR ENVIRONMENT! Over the last few years I have become increasingly disgusted at the personal garbage and animal bodies that people are leaving by the side of the road(s). Most recently under the lone tree on Wyoming someone left four large truck tires on rims nicely stacked.

Thanks for stacking but they will not decompose on their own. You could have taken them to the dump or a tire store but I guess you are too lazy!

Then about two months ago where there is an open area at the end of the field off Boekel and Huetter, someone dumped a black baby llama (I sure hope it was dead when they dumped its little body, broke my heart that someone discarded this baby like a piece of garbage), and on top of the baby llama was a box spring and a large bush with a root ball on it that someone had pulled up from their yard.

It’s sad to know that so many people in this area (including the young people who throw their garbage and beer cans/bottles to the side of the road) don’t respect our environment enough to know that all of this is polluting our environment and will not go away. People need to be responsible for disposing of their garbage.

Please don’t ruin the environment because once we do there is no going back. And bury your pets on your land; don’t toss them out like they are a piece of garbage.
