Rathdrum history presentations slated

RATHDRUM - The Rathdrum/Westwood Historical Society has scheduled a series of presentations that are open to the public.

Here are the topics and presenters:

* Feb 8 - Ellen Larsen, from her unpublished book on the beginning years of Rathdrum;

* March 14 - Art Randall, about the geological history of North Idaho; and

* April 11 - three men from early prairie farmer families about life on the prairie.

All presentations are at 7 p.m. at the former Kootenai County Jail in Rathdrum.

The presentations are free, but donations will be accepted.

Refreshments will be served.
