Gardner appointed to trustee panel

Winston & Cashatt attorney David Gardner has been appointed to the U.S. Trustee Program panel of Chapter 7 trustees for the District of Idaho, the firm recently announced.

Gardner will begin receiving Chapter 7 cases from the Coeur d'Alene Division of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in February. His appointment to the U.S. Trustees Program took effect Jan. 1. Trustees are private parties and not government employees.

"The U.S. Trustees Program is the component of the Justice Department that protects the integrity of the bankruptcy system by overseeing case administration and litigating to enforce the bankruptcy laws," according to the program's website. The Coeur d'Alene Division is part of Region 18, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

Gardner joined Winston & Cashatt in 2007. He earned his law degree from the Gonzaga University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Idaho, Washington and Montana. Gardner completed his undergraduate degree at Western Washington University.

Winston & Cashatt is a multidisciplinary, regional law firm that has been serving clients for more than 60 years. An experienced litigation firm, it represents a roster of local and national clients through its offices in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene.
