Tobler Marina offers 30 straight days of boat show

| January 26, 2012 8:15 PM

Tobler Marina, the area's only marine dealer to earn Boating Industry's Top 100 status along with being recognized as a Marine Industry Certified Dealer for 2011, is offering 30 straight days of boat show, Jan. 21 to Feb. 19.

Uniquely, Tobler Marina will offer boat enthusiasts an extended period to view more than 125 new, previously owned and consigned boats between two locations.

"It's never been done before, and this is the perfect year to do it," said Brent Christian, Tobler Marina's owner and operator for more than 17 years. "There are just too many new and exciting boats from our manufacturers to adequately feature and display them for just a few weeks and in just one location."

Changes in the boating market over the past three years have created an environment in the industry forcing manufacturers to adapt or fade away.

Today's boat buyer wants a high quality, multi-purpose boat at a more palatable entry-level price. Solid, up-scale manufacturers like Chaparral, Bennington, Duckworth, Nautique and Crestliner have adapted to meet those needs.

These exceptional boat companies have transferred their years of experience in producing high-end boats into innovative ways while still offering their standard of quality, performance and functionality but with a more affordable price tag.

A visit to the 3rd annual North Idaho Boat Show at the Tobler Marina's full sales, service and storage facility, located 2 miles north of Hayden off U.S. 95 and Lancaster, offers several features with no entry fee.

Be the first to see innovative products new for 2012. Shop non-current 2011 products listed at newly reduced prices. Take a look at the variety of sale priced, previously owned and consigned boats. Have a cup of hot coffee and refreshments while you tour more than 22,500 square feet of boats on display at Tobler's 10-acre facility.

The show begins Jan. 21 and runs through Feb. 19. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A visit to Tobler's booth at the Spokane Boat Show in the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center will allow you to view 27 new 2012 models from Tobler Marina's five boat lines while comparison shopping with more than 13 boat dealers from our area.

The 57th annual Spokane National Boat Show will run Jan. 28 to Feb. 4. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Spokane Yacht Club has set the admission price at $8 per adult, $5 for ages 17-12 and free for children under 12.

"We are excited to represent boat manufacturers that listen and respond to our customers' needs," Christian said. "I am proud to say that Tobler's shares that same commitment to customers' needs and satisfaction."
