Kansas drivers get a dose of NIC women athletes

The North Idaho College Lady Cardinals are featured on a billboard now up in two locations on interstate highways in Kansas. The billboard is promoting the upcoming National Junior College Athletic Association women's basketball tournament in Salina, Kansas March 20-24.

The NIC women's basketball team is featured on the billboards in a photo taken following their victory in the 2011 championship game.

The Lady Cardinals are the defending national champions and currently ranked 10th in the nation. They  are 16-2 this season and unbeaten in the Scenic West Athletic Conference (5-0).
