Article praises Post Falls for progressive policing

Post Falls police were featured in this month's national Law Officer magazine in a story titled "America's Finest: Profiles in Progressive Policing."

The magazine's cover teases to the story inside.

"This really is an honor," PFPD Chief Scot Haug said. "It really spotlights the excellent work that our staff, both paid and volunteers, do on a daily basis to provide the best customer service to our customer."

The article by Dale Stockton, the magazine's editor in chief, highlights how PFPD has used technology to become more efficient. Examples include the ability to text police and in-car and body-worn videos. Photos show technology components on a patrol car, motorcycle, on an officer and in the dispatch center.
