STOLEN: Unique reindeer, come home

I just wanted to personally thank the thieves who stole our Christmas reindeer out of our front yard the last day of December. We are an older couple on a limited income, and we both have medical issues, but in spite of that we work very hard to make our yard fun and festive for the holidays for the whole neighborhood to enjoy.

You can steal things from our yard (and the church property as well) but you can't rob our Christmas spirit. I hope you are really proud of yourselves.

If anyone has ended up with some rather unique reindeer that got dumped in your yard or in front of your house New Year's Eve, please let Mike Patrick at the Coeur d'Alene Press (664-0227) know so we can get them back. They are white wire mesh reindeer outlined with white rope lights, attached to a 2-by-4 stand. I have never seen any others like them.

To the thieves who took them, Happy New Year, and I hope you enjoy your stolen property.
