No. 5 Duke tops FSU, keeps pace in ACC race

Reserve Andre Dawkins scored 22 points and freshman Austin Rivers added 20 to lead No. 5 Duke to a 74-66 victory over No. 15 Florida State on Thursday night at Tallahassee, Fla.

The win kept the Blue Devils (24-4, 11-2) tied with No. 7 North Carolina for first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference while Florida State (19-8, 10-3) dropped a game behind.

No. 14 Murray State 80, Tennessee State 62: At Nashville, Tenn., Isaiah Canaan scored 16 of his 24 points in the first half, and Murray State (27-1, 14-1 OVC) routed Tennessee State (19-11, 11-5).

Iowa 67, No. 16 Wisconsin 66: At Iowa City, Iowa, Matt Gatens scored 33 points and Iowa (15-13, 7-8) upset Wisconsin (20-8, 9-6 Big Ten).

Cincinnati 60, No. 17 Louisville 56: At Cincinnati, Cashmere Wright scored 22 points and the Bearcats (20-8, 10-5 Big East) beat the Cardinals (21-7, 9-6).

UCLA 66, Arizona State 57: At Tempe, Ariz., Lazeric Jones scored 13 of his 20 in the second half, lifting the Bruins (16-12, 9-6 Pac-12) past Arizona State (8-20, 4-12).

Stanford 74, Colorado 50: At Boulder, Colo., Chasson Randle scored 20 points and Stanford (19-9, 9-7 Pac-12) beat Colorado (18-9, 10-5).

Arizona 70, Southern California 54: At Tucson, Ariz., Kyle Fogg had 16 points and a career-best 12 rebounds, and Arizona (20-9, 11-5 Pac-12) overcame a slow start to beat USC (6-22, 1-14).

California 60, Utah 46: At Salt Lake City, Harper Kamp scored 17 points and Jorge Gutierrez added 12 as California (23-6, 13-3 Pac-12) defeated Utah (5-22, 2-13).

Louisiana Tech 75, San Jose State 49: At Ruston, La., Romario Souza had 19 points and eight rebounds to lead Louisiana Tech (14-14, 4-7 Western Athletic Conference) past San Jose State (9-18, 1-10).

New Mexico State 115, Hawaii 73: At Las Cruces, N.M., Daniel Mullings had 28 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to lead New Mexico State (21-8, 8-3 WAC) past Hawaii (15-12, 6-5).

Fresno State 78, Seattle U 72: At Seattle, Kevin Olekaibe scored 43 points and Fresno State (13-16) beat Seattle (10-15).

Saint Mary's 70, Portland 43: At Portland, Ore., Rob Jones had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Saint Mary's (24-5, 13-2) defeated Portland (6-22, 3-12) to give the Gaels at least a share of the West Coast Conference title.

Pepperdine 63, Santa Clara 57: At Santa Clara, Calif., Taylor Darby had 16 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Waves (10-18, 4-12 WCC) past Santa Clara (8-20, 0-15).

San Diego 60, Loyola Marymount 57: At Los Angeles, Christopher Anderson had 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead San Diego (12-16, 7-8 WCC) past the Lions (18-11, 10-5).

Montana 78, Northern Arizona 60: At Missoula, Derek Selvig had 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four blocked shots to help Montana (21-6, 13-1 Big Sky) beat Northern Arizona (5-23, 1-14).
