MORMON: And Christian, as well

| February 3, 2012 8:00 PM

I will shout from the house top, I am a Christian!

I have taken upon myself his name, (Jesus Christ), and believe in his teachings.

I believe in the HOLY TRINITY as one God in purpose, "To bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man," Moses 1:39. Our Father in Heaven is the Father of our spirits and only he holds the title of "Father." He has sent his son, Jesus Christ to provide his children a way to return to him. Jesus Christ was about his Father's will and through his suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane brought about the atonement for all mankind to partake of.

Through Jesus Christ's atonement, we can be freed from our sins and through His death we can be freed from the bands of hell and be able to return to our Father In Heaven's presence. By our Father's great love for us he has sent the Holy Ghost, (the third member of the Godhead), to be a guiding influence. He is the comforter and will bring peace to us as we cleanse our souls through the power of the atonement.

I am proud to say, I am a Mormon, as the world depicts me. But much more proud to say, I am a member of his church, The Church of Jesus Christ and a member of his kingdom. I belong to the only true Church upon the face of the Earth today. His church bears his name and has all the principles and ordinances necessary to provide us with a way back to Our Father In Heaven.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
