Notice of Public Hearing On the Status of Proposed Activities The City of Coeur d'Alene will hold a public hearing for public testimony prior to submitting a proposal to the Housing and Urban Development Department for an annual allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The public hearing will include a discussion on the contents of the Draft Consolidated Plan such as the top housing and community needs in the City, a proposed strategic plan for the annual allocation of the CDBG funds, and how CDBG funds will benefit low and moderate- income persons. The funding is estimated to be $243,000 annually for 5 years. Current goals are to Increase For Sale Affordable Housing, Increase Affordable Rental Housing, Sidewalk Accessibility, Neighborhood Revitalization, Economic Development, and Public Service.
