BUS: Local drivers excel

The average school bus driver has been with Coeur d’Alene School District 271 for several years. We have never had a child seriously injured or killed in more than 65 years. Many of our drivers are here for the health benefits, and Coeur d’Alene is our home.

The school district is considering a contract with an out-of-our-area bus driver company to save health benefits. They will be part-time drivers with no benefits, and as such will have a high turnover rate because they will want what we now have, and thus won’t stay long.

We offer our driving record against anyone, any time or any where.
