RATES: In Cd'A, they only go up

What again is going on with our glorious city of Coeur d’Alene and its managers? I read an article in The Press stating they are in the process of STUDYING why us city dwellers should be paying higher water rates compared to other areas. We don’t live in other areas just because of those reasons. Period.

The other issue is to bring back the monthly stormwater fee that was found elsewhere to be illegal as it was charged. Remembering that the Queen and some of her court TOOK $1.5 million from that account and diverted it to fill the Kroc Center hole. This revised method of collecting the upcoming fee, to make it legal, questions me as to what they WANT, not need, a large chunk of funds for another pet project. Is the downtown circus costing more than proposed or are the court up to something else that won’t take any taxpayers monies?

Lookout, taxpayers and ratepayers (one and the same) as we are about to be done over again. And these people keep getting voted in time after time? My wallet is starting to get very thin.
