Press poll: Spend more? Bah, humbug!

Those feeling the post-recession squeeze are holding firm on their holiday spending.

According to the most recent poll on cdapress.com, half the respondents — 526 — say they'll spend less this holiday season than they did during last year's. Another 19 percent, 197 voters, say they'll spend about the same, while 31 percent, 318 voters, are feeling very merry indeed: They say they plan to spend more.
