Legal Notice: North Idaho College, Coeur d'Alene, scheduled for next comprehensive accreditation evaluation March 25, 26, and 27, 2013 North Idaho College is scheduled for its next comprehensive accreditation evaluation March 25-27, 2013. The evaluation will be conducted by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, one of six regional accrediting agencies approved by the U.S. Department of Education. North Idaho College has been accredited by the Commission since 1950 and its last full evaluation visit was in 2003. North Idaho College's most recent review by the Commission was its Year One evaluation in spring, 2011, under newly established standards. In August, 2011, the Commission reaffirmed North Idaho College's accreditation. The purpose of a comprehensive evaluation is to determine whether North Idaho College's programs and services meet standards for quality and effectiveness established by the Commission. For over a year, North Idaho College has been in the process of self-study to address the Commission's criteria for evaluation. As part of this process, an evaluation team will visit North Idaho College on March 25, 26, and 27, to gather evidence, review evidence, and make recommendations for improvements to the Commission. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Proposal to Extend Duration of East Post Falls Urban Renewal District NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Post Falls, Idaho will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 408 Spokane Street, Post Falls, ID, on the 18th day of December, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. concerning a recommendation from the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency to extend the duration of the East Post Falls Urban Renewal District from a termination date of December 31, 2015, to a new termination date of December 31, 2022.
