Police investigating death of four-month-old in Cd'A

COEUR d'ALENE - The Coeur d'Alene police department said Thursday a death investigation was under way after a four-month-old baby boy died Wednesday.

The boy was found unconscious by the father around 3 p.m. at his home in the 1900 block of Appleway Avenue.

Police did not identify the boy or his father Thursday.

Emergency medical personnel responded after the boy was found unconscious, but they were not able to help.

The department declined to release further information.
