PASTORS: Don't bash other faiths

| August 31, 2012 9:00 PM

Church pastors, under no circumstance are you to criticize and point fingers at all other churches, teaching their cult activity during the sermon time.

There are other times to preach and teach on these issues, but not during your church service. People come to hear a sermon from the Bible, not hear about all the cult churches in town.

There is too much church bashing. When you are continually bashing other churches, the people will soon become disillusioned and get tired of this continual bashing and will stop attending your church.

Yes, we are to teach on these issues, to keep people informed but it’s best to have a teaching time to do it, so that the people who want to hear it can attend for that specific reason rather than on your regular sermon time.

When you are continuing to bash other churches, the issue here is why are you pointing fingers and does that make you better than them? Are you their only hope?

Since Jesus never came to judge, what makes you think He left you in charge? Your true teaching will suffice and the Lord may even bless you for it.

The only true Church is the body of true believers, many won’t attend a church because of church politics. Mat: 7-16 states you will know them by their fruits, the Lord Himself said to beware of the leaven of pharocies, that it was hypocrisy, and to get out of Babylon, both are Religion.

Some of these pastors will even tell certain people that they can’t pray for people in their church, that tells the Holy Spirit who is in control and to back off.

Some even get the dust shook off on their doorstep as told to do in scripture.
