Dobson Pass open to traffic

Dobson Pass opened to public travel on Thursday.

Construction is sufficiently completed to allow safe public travel through construction areas at reduced speeds, according to the Shoshone County Public Works Department.

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, Shoshone County will resume construction between the hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for two more weeks. Expect traffic delays during construction operation hours. Flaggers will be on site to control traffic through construction areas for all remaining work.

The road had been closed to repair spring flood damage.
