Akey joins Dirne Health

Dr. Ken Akey, a pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with more than 25 years experience in a practice in California, has joined the staff at Dirne Community Health Center.

Akey's arrival means pediatric visits are available at Dirne in Coeur d'Alene.

"Including pediatrics with Dr. Akey helps complete an array of services for the whole family," according to a press release.

Dirne offers health care for people of all ages regardless of insurance status. Akey will enhance their services, especially for children, the release said.

"If your child hasn't been seen by a pediatrician, or if you would like to join your family together in a single Health Home, call and get a chance to see how he can help your child's health and wellness," wrote Mike Baker, Dirne CEO.
