ORPHAN: Several donated services

For 5 weeks this summer, we hosted a 13-year-old orphan from Ukraine in our home through a program called New Horizons for Children. During Lyudmila's visit, the following people and organizations generously donated their services for her well-being and we are so thankful - Coeur d'Alene Mines, Dr. John Ukich (Pediatric Dental Center, Coeur d'Alene), Dr. Christina Nye (Northwest Pediatric Ophthalmology, Spokane), Marcia Dittman (North Idaho Gymnastics, Rathdrum), and the Kroc Center. Thank you for having a caring heart for orphans!

ROADHOUSE: Crew helps out Fresh Start

We are so grateful to Dan & Annette Davis of Texas Roadhouse and their volunteer crew. They stood in the hot sun for 2 hours serving about 170 delicious pulled pork sandwiches with the fixings and giving most of the proceeds to Fresh Start Homeless shelter. What a wonderful asset Texas Roadhouse is to our community.

Thank you so much for all that came and supported us making a great event.
