SCHOOLS: Make good schools better

| August 24, 2012 9:00 PM

On Tuesday, August 28, the voters of this great city will be given the opportunity to cast their votes for or against a proposed bond run by the Coeur d’Alene School District that will be used for renovations and improvements to many of the area schools. As a parent of a Coeur d’Alene High School freshman, I have seen first-hand my tax dollars at work!

While my son was a student at Canfield Middle School, he experienced an educational environment that promoted growth and development in core subjects as well as life skills. He was encouraged to reach his full potential in these areas by teachers and staff who maximize learning with innovative, hands-on lessons that incorporate the latest in technology, while also reaching individual learning styles.

So, I will cast my vote in favor of the bond and do my part, today, to promote a quality education for tomorrow’s leaders. For more information regarding the proposed bond go to http://www.cdaschools.org/
