FRONTIER: Great workers await

| August 24, 2012 9:00 PM

This letter is addressed to all employers in the Coeur d’Alene area. The 100+ Frontier employees, who will be without jobs after Sept. 18, when Frontier closes the local office, are hard working, intelligent, dedicated and incredibly flexible and need to be considered for any position open in your business.

The 55+ age of many of these employees is of little consequence to you as an employer. I worked with most of these people for years — both in Coeur d’Alene under Verizon and in Moscow under GTE. I guarantee all of the 100 are quality team oriented employees and I know they accept all changes and challenges presented to them ... and they succeed.

Through the GTE, Verizon and Frontier ownerships, these employees learned well over 100 different computer systems needed to process customer contact orders/requests from all over the United States. They were very successful in completing all new tasks assigned to this office and frequently received kudos on completing work handed to them on short notice. In addition, these employees have years of experience working under strict attendance and objective requirements.

I can’t brag enough about these individuals who are also extremely generous with their time and dollar donations to local charities and other community events. They are currently supporting a Make-A-Wish child and made a vow to continue that support after Sept. 18 — and they will.

Please consider them for positions that are available in your company. They will be a very positive asset to your business.
