Crash injures six

HAYDEN - A rollover crash on U.S. 95 in Hayden on Monday night resulted in injuries to six people.

Thomas J. Kennard, 19, Spirit Lake, was eastbound on Boekel Road at 9:34 p.m. when the 1988 Chevy S10 pickup he was driving entered the intersection with U.S. 95 and struck a 2004 Chevy Tahoe driven by Renee D. Hanson, 30, Genesee, according to Idaho State Police.

The Tahoe left the roadway and overturned. Kennard was ejected, but not injured. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Hanson and five passengers, including Dean W. Flatt, 65, Sherry A. Flatt, 60, a 6-year-old girl, 2-year-old girl and a 26-day-old girl, were transported to Kootenai Medical Center.

All of the adults were treated and released. Patient information on minors, including names and conditions, is not released.

All of the occupants in the Tahoe were wearing seat belts.
