Post Falls teens injured in Washington crash
DAVENPORT, Wash. - Three Post Falls teens were injured during a crash Sunday morning on Highway 2 about two miles east of Davenport.
According to Washington State Patrol, Lindsey L. Barajas, 19, was driving a 1998 Subaru Legacy eastbound at 2:55 a.m. when it drifted off the roadway, continued down an embankment and rolled.
The cause was inattentive driving and Barajas was charged with second-degree negligent driving, according to WSP.
Barajas and passengers Courtney M. Hayes and Shelby M. Mahal, both 19, were transported to Lincoln County Hospital. All were wearing seat belts.
Barajas and Mahal were treated and released from Lincoln County Hospital. Hayes was transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where she was in satisfactory condition on Monday afternoon.
Drugs or alcohol were not a factor.
