Jeter's 250th HR lifts Yanks

Derek Jeter hit his 250th home run, Nick Swisher connected twice and the New York Yankees beat the visiting Boston Red Sox 6-4 on Friday night for their eighth win in 10 games.
Swisher, Curtis Granderson, Russell Martin and Jeter hit solo homers off Franklin Morales, and Swisher added another solo shot in the seventh against Clayton Mortensen. Jeter's homer gave the Yankees 10 players with 10 or more this season, tying the club record set in 1998.
Blue Jays 3, Rangers 2: Edwin Encarnacion hit his 31st home run, J.A. Happ won his second straight start and host Toronto handed Texas its fourth loss in five games.
Rays 12, Angels 3: At Anaheim, Calif., B.J. Upton went 4 for 5 with a home run and three RBIs, Ben Zobrist and Jose Molina also homered and Tampa Bay battered Jered Weaver for a career-worst nine earned runs in a victory over Los Angeles.
Tigers 5, Orioles 3: Prince Fielder hit a pair of two-run homers to lift Detroit past visiting Baltimore.
Royals 4, White Sox 2: Salvador Perez hit a tiebreaking two-run double with two out in the seventh and Kansas City beat visiting Chicago.
Athletics 6, Indians 4: Josh Donaldson hit a tiebreaking single with the bases loaded in the eighth and host Oakland beat Cleveland.

Reds 7, Cubs 3: Todd Frazier hit a two-run home run, Ryan Ludwick and Jay Bruce added solo shots, and host Cincinnati beat Chicago.
Nationals 6, Mets 4: Michael Morse hit a grand slam, Bryce Harper also homered and Washington beat visiting New York.
Braves 4, Dodgers 3, 11 inn.: Pinch-hitter Juan Francisco's two-out single in the 11th lifted host Atlanta past Los Angeles for its fourth straight win.
Brewers 6, Phillies 2: Ryan Braun hit his NL-leading 32nd home run, Yovani Gallardo won his fourth straight start, and Milwaukee extended its home winning streak to nine with a victory over Philadelphia.
Pirates 2, Cardinals 1: James McDonald halted a string of ineffective starts with six innings of two-hit ball, helping Pittsburgh win at St. Louis.
Diamondbacks 3, Astros 1: Wade Miley pitched six solid innings and drove in a run to lead Arizona at Houston.
Marlins 6, Rockies 5: At Denver, Jose Reyes and Giancarlo Stanton homered, Wade LeBlanc won for the first time as a starter and Miami beat Colorado.
