Marvin E. Wadsworth, 73

Marvin E. Wadsworth was born on March 13, 1939, to Max Wadsworth and Marjorie (Griffith) Wadsworth in Plummer. He died Aug. 10, 2012, at Kootenai Medical Center with his family around him. He went to school at Rose Lake, and was in the first graduating class at Kootenai High School in 1957. He served in the Army in 1958. He married his high school sweet heart Lois Moe July 31, 1959, in Harrison.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years and their daughter, Maria Wadsworth Nelson; son-in-law Ron and their four children, Nikki, Kayla, Gracie and Ronnie. He has two brothers, Charles and his wife Robin of Olympia, Wash., and Daniel and Judy of Lewiston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lyle in 2006 and his little sister, Maxine at the age of 3.

Marvin worked in various sawmills and worked as a logger for about 20 years before he started his career at Eastside Highway District where he maintained roads and various other things. He worked there for 22 years until he retired in 1997 due to an injury.

His hobbies included buying and fixing any old engine, tractor and or vehicle to make them run like new again. Marvin enjoyed helping his neighbors in whatever they needed. He loved fishing with his friends and reading Louie Lamoure books.

Marvin and his wife Lois lived in the Black Lake area for the past 45 years and had many friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
